Primanti Brothers (Pittsburgh,PA)

Hello avid and irregular readers!

I'm currently in the process of revamping this blog. So, to start it, I thought I'd write about a little place I've discovered here in Pittsburgh, where I am spending the summer!

Primanti Brothers was founded in the 1930s as a way to feed local workers (you should know that Pittsburgh grew alarmingly fast as a result of the steel industry). What makes Primanti different from your average sub shop? Why, coleslaw, of course!

At Primanti, every sandwich comes stuffed with fries, coleslaw and tomatoes. The fries are not very consistent. At times they're yummy, other times they're average. The coleslaw IS amazing though. Also, the price is very convenient to a student's budget.

Here is how I would rate them:

Concept: 9
Taste: 7
Health: 4 (Sorry! too much fat)
Price: 9
Customer service: 8
Hours of operation: 10
Location: 10(16 stores in Pittsburgh)
Overall: 8/10

So, if you are ever in Pittsburgh, do check it out :D

I will also leave you with a cool new blog to check out:
