So, to start it, I thought I'd write about a little place I've discovered here in Pittsburgh, where I am spending the summer!<br /><br />Primanti Brothers was founded in the 1930s as a way to feed local workers (you should know that Pittsburgh grew alarmingly fast as a result of the steel industry). What makes Primanti different from your average sub shop? Why, coleslaw, of course!<br /><br />At Primanti, every sandwich comes stuffed with fries, coleslaw and tomatoes. The fries are not very consistent. At times they're yummy, other times they're average. The coleslaw IS amazing though.
